The Water Flows! Autumn Equinox 2025

Dear Friends and Supporters of Women Rising – 

As we celebrate this Fall Equinox, we enter the next season in deep reflection on the challenges and successes of the past year. It was one year ago that we began the journey to fund two deep wells for the Project and the circle of villages it supports. Negligent mining companies had poisoned the river that had been the water source for this community for eons.

Today we are thrilled to share that the well project has been completed! We are overjoyed, and we are overwhelmed by the support you and others have provided. Clean water is now flowing for the women farmers and the villages!
