Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Women Rising Legacy Project

What a wonderful tradition - to honor our Mothers.

Because every woman is mothering someone, we are wishing all women in our circle of friends and supporters a meaningful day filled with much gratitude for the gifts you give every day,

As a Special Mother’s Day Treat this year, we have enormously exciting news – the tanks to hold water from the two wells (to be dug shortly) have been purchased! You can see Maman Ilunga and Maman Kaj here showing off one of them.

 We have been blessed with good rains from the heavens this season. And, with the farmers’ hard work, Mother Earth has provided great bounty. [pics of some harvest]

 We will soon be blessed with the clean water under her surface (away from the river polluted by the mining companies). So, this Mother’s Day, we are also honoring Mother Earth.
